Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Job Description 1.
Coordinate benefits administration from processing enrollments to employee information changes, COBRA, and terminations that involve ending all benefit plans and programs.
Assist the HR Manager in the compliance of human resources programs such as Worker-s Compensation, FMLA, short and long term disability, etc.
Prepare and post job advertisements, arrange interviews, and monitor calls and emails regarding employment inquiries on posted positions.
Facilitate regular communication with HR Manager in regards to employee relations, resolving company issues, and strategic planning to ensure an efficient operational HR office.
Administer a system of employee service records and assist in maintaining personnel documentation and records.
Serve as a -Go-To- person for providing employees with information regarding policies, job duties, benefits, company procedures, and answering general questions to foster a positive attitude towards the company.
Manage several employee community involvement programs such as the United Way, Scouting For Food, etc.
Requirements Education:
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge is qualifying.
Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Completion of the twelfth (12th) grade supplemented by specialized secretarial courses or graduation from an accredited business school/college; and2.
Three (3) years- increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical experience, preferably in an HR Department.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
