Parish Manager

Position:
Part-time employee reporting to the Rector.
Responsibilities:
Part time position to oversee all operational functions of the parish as detailed below.
To act as an ombudsman for our Rector and in general insure that all personnel, administrative and facility issues are being addressed to better allow our Rector to tend to pastoral and liturgical duties.
The Housekeepers will report to the Parish Manager.
The Parish Manager owns 3 major areas of parish management:
PersonnelObjective:
Oversee the administration of payroll and benefits for housekeeping personnel, conduct staff reviews and evaluations with support staff, and insure compliance with employee handbook and human resource laws, in coordination with the Personnel Committee and the Rector.
o Determine organizational needs, recommend appropriate staff structure and implement approved changes as needed.
o Maintain and interpret current personnel policies for staff and, subsequently, maintain and interpret such policies; advise the Rector on compliance issues and update as necessary.
o Represent the parish's operational interests at all Personnel Comm.
meetings.
o Maintain personnel files.
o Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.
AdministrativeObjective:
Oversee and manage the administrative activities of the parish to insure effective and efficient operations and free the Rector's time so that it can be spent more fully serving as pastor, priest and teacher in furtherance of our mission and ministry.
o Provide support and assistance to Rector and staff as needed.
o Maintain and upgrade computers, software, and networking including our website.
o Maintain and upgrade telephone system as needed.
o Lead weekly meeting of full staff in the Rector's absence or at his/her direction.
o Meet at least once a week with the Rector.
o Own all Requests for Proposal (RFP's) and manage all contracts entered into by St.
Paul's.

FacilitiesObjective:
Oversee the administration of all aspects of the physical plant, working with the Building & Grounds Committee to maintain and improve the property.
o Represent the parish's operational interests at all Buildings and Grounds Comm.
meetings to ensure that program needs are supported by facilities operations.
o Work with the housekeepers to cover all the hours the building is open, and oversee cleaning, maintenance, and repair of common areas, fixtures, machines, etc.
o Oversee all operational issues related to the columbarium .
Will Greet Customers,Answer phones,unload Granite slabs from trucks using electronic Hoist

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
