Maintenance Electrician

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic:
Job Description: Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Job Duties:
o Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions.
o Locate sources of problems by troubleshooting mechanical and electrical devices using precision testing instruments.
o Repair defective parts by dismantling devices and using hand and power tools
o Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop equipment
o Conserves maintenance resources by suing equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
o Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
o Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed.
Skills and
Qualifications:
o Equipment Maintenance
o Technical Understanding
o Basic Safety
o Power Tools
o Attention to Detail
o Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
o Posses the ability to read schematics
o Bend conduit
o Understand the operation of PLC'S and be able to troubleshoot the controls based on reading inputs and outputs(programming not necessary)
o Basic understanding of DC and AC up to 480 volts
o Minimum of 5 years experience as and industrial electrician
o 50/50 training/hands on experience.
o Plc experience and electrical background would be great.
