IT Manager 12875

The Information Technology Manager position reports to the Vice President of Information Technology.The manager will provide the day to day interface for developing, implementing, and integrating information technology solutions and supports these initiatives in a HANDS-ON manner to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the extended IT infrastructure. He or she will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to technology solution delivery to support the objectives, mission and vision of the organization.

Principal Job Responsibilities
Manage the functional activities of the IT department
Manage KPI's for the IT department using best practices.
Gain knowledge in the organizations business processes.
Clearly define projects and delivery timelines.
Manage help desk activities as well as projects assigned by the VP of IT.
Develop process flows and diagrams of key systems.
Provide remote support to all users in the field and remote offices.
Stay abreast of industry, regulatory and company changes and/or trends as they impact information management and security, technological standards, and IT efficiencies

Departmental Areas of Responsibility
Software Lifecycle Management and Agile development methodology
Microsoft Software Development Stack (.NET, C#, IIS, Web API, MVC/SPA, Win/Web Forms, SQL Server)
Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, SSDT)
All telecommunications infrastructure and support for 3 primary offices and various remote employees
Desktop computer and laptop computer support, company-wide
Tablet computer (Samsung Galaxy; Apple iPad) support and applications
Network/Server design, administration and support (both IBM mini-computer and PC servers)
Database administration and support (MS SQL, Oracle, Progress)
Integration and interfacing with customer IT systems and/or industry exchanges as required

Special Skills or Knowledge Required
Strong organizational skills; superb attention to detail and accuracy
Strong supervisory and mentoring skills
"Hands-on" support is a must.
Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines as well as be a team player with strong communications skills
Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and application of technologies to improve operational productivity and efficiency
Exceptional project management skills and the demonstrated ability to plan, control and implement critical IT systems and projects
Extensive experience in CRM implementation, support and design for a robust and remote service based field management team.
Experience in implementation, design and support of complete HRIS systems.

Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Graduate degree and/or advanced technical designations desirable
Minimum 7-10 years progressive experience including department manager and/or team leader responsibilities
Project Management Experience a must
Experience in a diverse field management workforce with focus on remote user support and remote data delivery.
Bi-lingual (Spanish) desirable

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
