Craig Transportation is a mixed fleet of company drivers and owner operators and needs an innovative leader to continue the growth of the safety culture in the fleet.
This position is integral in the success of the company and is a key leader in monitoring and weighing risk when making decisions.
Job Duties:
Oversee safety and compliance programs Monitor insurance claims Spearhead insurance renewal Make final decision on hiring of new drivers Monitor HOS logs Coach drivers on safety behaviors Constantly improve processes to become more efficient and reduce risk Work with other departments to develop safety initiatives and campaigns to target areas of need and reduce incidents Write standard operating procedures to document new processes Manage 2 direct-reports Any other duties necessary of the Director of Safety that may become apparent day by day
Qualifications:

years fleet safety experience 4
years of transportation experience Experienced in Excel Good communication skills 4-year degree (Preferred) Job Type:
